Farewell 2006

Well 2006 is finished and here are the last photos for 2006. They include the last photos from Exmouth, Christmas in Perth and of course New Years! So I wish you all the best for 2007 and hope you can keep visiting our little blogspot!
This is the Boarding house that we lived in while we were in Exmouth. We had it all to ourselves most of the time - once a fortnight we had the crew from Carnarvon come and visit and of course Jos stayed and kept me company when Joel went fishing on the "Phillip King" for 10 days

NEW YEARS EVE 2006
We had a few of the youth over for lunch and a movie, It ended with a brilliant waterfight and lots of laughter.... We then headed for the Trotters at Glouster Park... First time betting on horses ... and I won on every bet! Yay... Poor Joel finially tried his luck choosing his own horse -- but oh it came last .... LOL! (Mine won). There was an awesome concert with some great local bands then the best fireworks display Ive ever seen and it was even set to music! All in all an awesome New Years ...
The plan for 2007 is liable to change :) as per usual for Joel and I, but we are definitely flying to Melbourne in 3 days! wipppeee - at least we will be slightly closer to home. My cuz Melissa will be there soon and Mum and Dad are coming over to visit too - These will be the highlights of our short 3 month stay in Melbourne. And then the plan is to head over to Europe ... Tell you more when we have more details!

Youth Camp 2006
Ok, so the idea behind this was to take a bunch of city kids and show them farm life in the outback Australia style. Where kids can drive cars, fire can be played with, spud guns are fun and cold actually means its freezing!
These are our precious youth.... the car if you look closely has blown out tyres - this was done for the amusement of the kids and there was soo much smoke! Jo and Rebekah are two of "my girls" and they are the best of mates.

Kev was our awesome speaker for the long weekend. And this guy won "most surprised face".

Rolling bales and being rolled in tyres... Even the big kids joined in

Taking on the Canines of soccer (I think they won) But the ball was flat afterwards. The owner of the farm was a gentle soul - though he thought us Kiwis were a funny pair!

Round by the light of the bonfire - I love this photo of Nyssa and Ross - sooo cute! but Brian was not impressed by the camera being around! LOL
DAVE n MICHELLE and ADAM - random photos
Dave n Michelles farewell turned into a farewell for Adam too.
This is Adams awesome bike - dunno what has happened to it now though!

Dave and Adam decided to have a bit of a wrestle, Great idea guys! But Adam won and poor dave was the worse for wear! Oh soo close to being KO'd. Never mind!!
